Hassan Shakeel SEO Expert — SEO Consultant

I'm Hassan Shakeel, an SEO consultant and the founder of PakSEOs and HassanSEO. Since 2018 I've helped businesses, agencies and local companies improve their visibility in search, build sustainable organic traffic, and turn search demand into leads and customers.

The work in short

Over the years, SEO has taken me far beyond simply trying to rank individual keywords. I've worked across technical SEO, keyword research, on-page optimization, content strategy, link building, local SEO, website optimization, and SEO systems for agencies that need to deliver SEO for their own clients.

My approach is straightforward: understand the business first, understand how people search for it, find what is preventing the website from competing, and then build the SEO system around those opportunities.

I don't believe SEO is about publishing hundreds of pages and hoping something ranks. Good SEO starts with understanding the search landscape and making the website genuinely useful, technically sound, relevant to its market, and easier for both users and search engines to understand.

What I do

What I do as an SEO consultant.

My work covers the areas that usually determine whether an SEO campaign actually has a foundation to grow. A local roofing company, an e-commerce store, a medical practice and an SEO agency have completely different search environments. The strategy needs to reflect that.

Building systems

From doing SEO to building SEO systems.

One of the biggest changes in my career has been moving from simply completing SEO tasks to building repeatable systems around SEO.

Early on, I was involved in almost every part of a campaign myself — keyword research, audits, on-page work, outreach, link building, content, reporting and client communication.

That experience taught me something important: SEO becomes much more effective when the work is organized around a clear process rather than a collection of disconnected tasks.

That thinking eventually led to the development of my agency work through PakSEOs and HassanSEO, where I have worked with businesses as well as other agencies that need SEO delivery behind the scenes.

For agencies

SEO for agencies.

Agencies have been an important part of my SEO work. Many agencies can sell SEO but don't necessarily want to build a large in-house SEO operation. Others have more clients than their existing team can comfortably handle.

That's where white-label SEO can make sense. Through HassanSEO and PakSEOs, I work with agencies that need support with SEO strategy, execution, link building, technical work, content, local SEO, reporting, and ongoing campaign management.

The goal isn't simply to become another vendor. The goal is to give an agency a reliable SEO delivery system that can operate behind its own client relationships and processes.

I've learned that agencies care about more than rankings. They also need communication, consistency, quality control, deadlines, reporting, and a process that can scale as their client base grows.

Local search

Local SEO and lead generation.

Another major area of my work is local search. For a local business, ranking is only useful when it helps the business get discovered by people who are actually looking for its services.

That means looking beyond a single keyword. I look at the complete local search environment — the website, service pages, location relevance, Google Business Profile, reviews, local signals, content, internal linking, competitors, search intent, and the opportunities available in the market.

I've worked particularly closely with service businesses where organic search can become an important source of qualified leads. Roofing is one example — my work in this area eventually led to the creation of Roofers Marketing Done.

Why this work

Why I focus on SEO.

SEO is interesting to me because it sits between marketing, technology, content and consumer behavior.

A website can have excellent content and still struggle because of technical problems. A technically perfect website can still fail because it doesn't satisfy search intent. A business can rank for thousands of keywords and still generate poor leads.

That is why I don't look at SEO through rankings alone. I look at what those rankings are supposed to accomplish.

More relevant visibility. More qualified visitors. More enquiries. More customers. And, where the business model allows it, more revenue from organic search.

Beliefs

What I believe about SEO.

There is no single SEO strategy that works for every website.

The right approach depends on the site, the market, the competition, the resources and the business model.

Ranking a keyword does not automatically mean an SEO campaign is successful.

Rankings are a means, not an outcome. What matters is what those rankings do for the business.

More content does not automatically mean more organic traffic.

Content needs a reason to exist. Volume without strategy mostly creates noise.

SEO should not operate separately from the business.

The best SEO work starts with the business model, the customer, and the decisions that happen before a search ever begins.

Working together

How I work with clients.

I prefer to understand the website before recommending a long list of SEO activities. That usually means looking at:

The business and its goals
Existing organic visibility
Competitors
Search demand
Technical issues
Existing content
Website structure
Local search opportunities
Link profile and authority
Commercial value of target keywords

From there, I prioritize the work. Some websites need technical cleanup before anything else. Others have strong technical foundations but weak content architecture. Some have plenty of content but lack authority. Others are targeting keywords that bring traffic but very few customers.

The job of an SEO consultant is not to blindly execute a checklist. It is to identify what is holding the website back and determine where the next investment of time and resources is most likely to make a meaningful difference.

Philosophy

My SEO philosophy.

SEO is a long-term acquisition channel. Search algorithms change. Competitors change. Search behavior changes. Websites change. The work therefore cannot be treated as something you do once and forget.

A strong SEO system keeps improving.

  • Pages get updated.
  • Internal links get strengthened.
  • Content gets expanded when search intent changes.
  • Technical problems get fixed.
  • New opportunities are discovered.
  • Competitors are monitored.
  • The strategy evolves as the business grows.

That is the way I approach SEO. Not as a one-time ranking project, but as an ongoing system for building organic visibility.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What does an SEO consultant do?

An SEO consultant diagnoses why a website isn't performing in organic search and identifies where investment will produce the strongest return. That covers technical foundations, content architecture, on-page work, authority building, local visibility and competitive positioning — plus deciding what not to do.

Do you work with agencies?

Yes. A significant part of my work is white-label SEO delivery for agencies that need experienced SEO execution behind their own brand. This includes strategy, technical work, content briefs, link building, local SEO and reporting.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No. Nobody who understands how search engines work can honestly guarantee rankings. What I do commit to is a clear diagnosis, a prioritised plan, careful execution and transparent reporting against the metrics that matter to the business.

What industries do you work with?

I work across local service businesses, e-commerce, SaaS, professional services, healthcare, roofing, hospitality and agencies. The industries change; the underlying process — research, diagnose, prioritise, implement, measure, improve — stays the same.

How long before I see results from SEO?

Technical fixes can move performance within weeks. Content and authority growth typically takes three to six months to compound meaningfully. SEO is a long-term acquisition channel — the businesses that win treat it as an ongoing system, not a one-off project.

Can you work with my existing SEO team?

Yes. I can operate as an extension of your team — providing senior SEO direction, executing specific workstreams, or handling the SEO delivery end to end while your team keeps the client relationship.
